About me
I was born and I`m currently living in Kaunas, Lithuania.
In 2007 I obtained a qualification in graphic design. Now, the majority of my time I spend as an acrylic painter. I paint because I feel it`s the best thing I can offer to others, as well as to myself. The key focus of my work is to explore human emotions, transience and inside experiences. I don't insist on transmitting a concrete message to the viewers or telling a full story. Instead, I try to engage them in actively perceiving the painting in their own way. This is my main goal.
Mostly without any sketching or conceptual process, I work
instantly on the surface. This allows me to express directly the inner impulses
and senses. I like bold strokes on canvas, profound expression and
experiments with new creative ways and techniques.
